NOTICE OF 2022 NEW ZEALAND RADIO YACHTING ASSOCIATION INC. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The NZRYA AGM for 2022 will be convened on 3rd of December 2022. The meeting will take place via Electronic Communication as has been the practice in recent years.
The NZRYA Inc. Constitution requires that Members be given at least 30 days written notice of Annual General Meetings. The notice can be given by such methods as the Council may determine including by email. Notice is defined in Section 2 – Definitions as notice given personally (including by email).
The Notice of AGM, supporting documents and a link to a secure online ballot form have been sent by personal email to all NZRYA members who have provided an email address through their affiliated club or directly. If you have not received the Notice of AGM email it will be because you have not provided an email address to your club, the email address you have provided is incorrect or has changed or you have opted not to provide an email address to NZRYA. If any of the above are applicable and you wish to receive a copy the Notice of AGM, supporting documents and a link to the secure online ballot form, please contact me by email and I will forward the information to you.
Voting opens on the 2nd of November and closes at 6.00 PM on the 3rd of December.
It is worth noting that the structure of NZRYA gives individual members the right to vote and have a say in the running of the association. Individual members have the same voting rights as Member Clubs and Member Class Associations. I encourage all members to participate in the AGM by reading the AGM supporting documents and submitting an online ballot form.
